My work as a musician and therapist is about capturing the essence of what it means to truly listen- to the world, and to each other. It is influenced by the world of ethnomusicology and systems theory, which both serve to inform me on universality and intersubjectivity, and how my own self and the way I listen can fit in with that. 

My current work has been fixated on field recording, and translating that into something compositional, intentional, and mine. I do this by using various processing techniques, including looping, distorting, stretching, slowing, shifting pitch, and more. Each procedure means something to me personally about my subjective understanding of the world. This processing is, in essence, a way for me to show to the listener how my own listening frames the world and context. This effort to keep on listening to the self is the thing that carries me.
